SKS helps out in their Community

Shell Knob middle school students have spent part of their holiday season reaching into the community. NJHS and Leadership students were hard working elves at Santa's Workshop at the United Methodist Church. The students helped local children select special gifts for their caretakers and then the students wrapped the gifts. The gift items were all donated by the church members and members of the community. This is a fun tradition that Shell Knob students always look back on and say it was their favorite event at which to volunteer. National Junior Honor Society and Leadership students also went to the United Methodist Church to help organize and distribute groceries for the community food drive. The students enjoyed giving back and felt proud of the work they did for the community.
