Shell Knob Cross Country Team Competes in Blue Eye Invitational

SKS students spent part of their morning on Saturday 9/29/2018, showing what they are made of by competing in the Blue Eye Cross Country meet.  The team consists of Isaac Hadlow 8th grade, Phillip Mason 8th grade, Rileigh Rickard 8th grade Nicole Ray 8th grade, Cole Watts,7th grade,  Jacob Walker 6th grade and Mason Graham 6th grade. Nicole was unable to compete because of illness. Mason was also unable to compete due to a broken arm.

On the boys MS team Cole Watts came in 14th out of 34, Phillip Mason came in 25th out of 34, Jacob Walker came in 29th out of 34, and Isaac Hadlow came in 30th out of 34 runners. Several of these boys play basketball as well as cross country.  On the girls team Madelyn game in 13th out of 30 runners and Rileigh Rickard came in 30th out of the 30 runners. This is Rileigh’s first year running cross country.

The student come out early every morning to practice before school starts. Several of them then practice after school for basketball or other sports. Come out and cheer on your runners; Thursday 10/11/2018 @ Southwest, and Saturday 10/13/2018 @ Wheaton.
