Goal 1: The Shell Knob School District will actively address school safety and security.

Objective A:  The Shell Knob School District, in consultation with public safety officials and stakeholders, will develop, implement and annually review a comprehensive school emergency operations plan for the school system.

Strategy 1

The school system establishes a district-level collaborative EOP development team. The team consists of internal stakeholders and representatives from external agencies with applicable roles in the EOP. School/facility-level teams are formed to identify facility-specific details (e.g. rally points, evacuation routes, shelter-in-place locations, etc.)

Strategy 2:  

All school system staff participate in relevant school safety and violence prevention training.

Strategy 3:  

The school system implements a cyber/privacy security plan, utilizing nationally accepted standards.
