Leader in Me
Shell Knob School District is a Leader in Me (LIM) school. Discussions about the 7 habits begin in Kindergarten all through 8th grade.
The 7 habits of the Leader in Me program are:
Be proactive: Take responsibility for your life
Begin with the end in mind: Have a plan and reconnect with your passion and purpose
Put first things first: Prioritize and take care of what's most important
Think win-win: Collaborate and look for solutions that benefit everyone
Seek first to understand, then to be understood: Listen with your ears, eyes, and heart
Synergize: Work together to create better solutions
Sharpen the saw: Balance your life by eating right, exercising, learning, and getting enough sleep
In the mornings, Shell Knob schools also start with Impact Time for Middle School students and Community Time for Elementary students.
Impact Time groups for Middle School students is a time for students to help improve the culture and climate of Shell Knob School. This happens from 8-8:30 am.
