Mentoring Students makes a Positive Impact
Shell Knob School is happy to, once again, have a mentor program this school year. Mentors are a great way for students to build a connection with a positive adult influence in our community. Being a mentor is fun and easy; simply join your assigned student during his or her lunch period as you are able. If you are interested in learning more about becoming a mentor, please join us on Thursday, September 7th at 3:00 pm in the Shell Knob School cafeteria (parking is on the side of the school, and you can enter through the front doors by the office). Returning mentors can call or email Keri Givens to let her know if you want to continue this year. We hope to see you there!
SKS will host a Block Party to celebrate the new school year! There will be Title 1 information, meet the teacher, BBQ, snowcones and bounce houses. The Block Party is on Monday, August 21st, 4:00-6:00 p.m.
