Culture Club is an activity that middle school students can join in Shell Knob School to spread kindness and help keep our school building clean and nice. Culture Club’s recent project they did was painting mailboxes to be mounted outside the teachers’ classrooms. These mailboxes are going to be used for birthday cards, snail mail, or any packages they get. We look forward to the rest of this school year at Shell Knob School to improve the environment and we want to continue our growth and success in Shell knob School.
Culture Club staff leaders are Mrs. Remerscheid and Mrs. TK. The mailboxes were hand crafted by students for teachers. Earlier in the year, teachers were asked to share their favorite colors, characters, teams, etc. Culture Club students then took those favorite things and decorated mailboxes for the classrooms. The mailboxes were cut and constructed by David Miller, Mrs. Remerscheids dad. The students then added the design and hand painted each one. The students spent many hours working on the boxes and took this task very seriously. They knew their projects would be mounted on school walls for all to see, so there is a good deal of pride put into each mailbox.
