At Shell Knob School, students who come to school every day on time for at least 95% of the time are rewarded at the end of each quarter.  These students get to go on a field trip and have a fun day off from school.  The field trip for the 3rd quarter was to the Strike Zone in Aurora. Kindergarten through 8th grade students got to show off their bowling skills and enjoy a carefree day.  For lunch, pizza from Your Pizza Place was devoured pretty quickly. To end the day, students ran down the hill and played at one of the Aurora city parks.

Before leaving the Strike Zone, owner Jim Turner made a point to tell school Counselor Keri Givens how well behaved SKS students always are when they come up for field trips. He complimented the students saying they are the best behaved group he's seen. He loved seeing them have fun and still be able to be respectful and well behaved.  Mr. Turner shared with Mrs. Givens that Shell Knob School is welcome there anytime!
