eating honey

Kindergarten students recently learned the process of making dandelion honey. In this hands-on activity, they first went on a dandelion hunt and collected two 5 gallon buckets of dandelions from around the school. Next, Head Custodian Mrs. Lori Ewbank walked the students through the process of making the dandelion honey. Students were able to participate in the process by adding sugar to the mixture. This was a fun two day activity where students learned the importance of following steps in order to produce something. Lastly, and the best part, they were able to eat and enjoy the honey!
