Today is School Lunch Hero Day! We have 3 heroes that keep our students and staff fed and happy. Thank you Katie, Heather and Kristi for taking such good care of us!
8th grade night at our last home volleyball game this season.
Don't miss it!
Dr. Conyac has taken the role of Superintendent and made it her own. She is doing a phenomenal job and is working to push our school to the next level. Good job, Doctor Conyac!! Keep it up
Mr. Farr is doing a great job in the role of principal. He is very approachable and easy to work with. Keep up the good work Mr. Farr
From Mr. Hobbs
Success doesn’t come from what you do occasionally, but what you do consistently ❤️
Dr. Conyac and Mr. Farr ~ Happy Administrative Professionals Day!!! A simple “thank you” doesn’t seem like enough. Leadership is all about making others better as a result of your presence. Someone who guides with insight and inspiration, recognizes accomplishments, encourages and appreciates employees, and models thoughtfulness day after day. What a perfect example you both are!
For all the details you’ve arranged, all the extra hours you’ve gladly stayed, your tireless efforts, positive attitude and attention … Thank you for keeping everything running behind the scenes and being such dedicated and valuable leaders to SKS! Your professionalism, commitment, and passion for your work is greatly appreciated and never goes unnoticed!
For all that you give, for all that you do, for working hard, for being there day in and day out and for simply being you … I hope today you both know how very much your work is valued and how much you are both appreciated. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!!!
Sincerely,
Tosha Welch and Family
"The time and effort you both put into making SKS a wonderful place to work and a safe learning environment for our students mean a lot. I want to thank each of you for being an amazing administrator!" 👏

"Dr. Conyac was amazing when we first met and made us feel right at home. She knew exactly how to get Syd. She always goes out of her way to make sure her students are taken care of and achieve their best.
Mr. Farr, what can I say except that I am so glad you're in this position to not only be there for our kids as a former coach, but now as principal. I'm excited to see what the future holds for you.
The girls both say they are so lucky to have you both and you're awesome!"

"People ask the difference between a leader and a boss. The leader leads, and the boss drives.” – President Theodore Roosevelt
We are blessed to have 2 leaders that put everything they've got into making SKS the best "mighty" little school in the state!
Mark your calendars!
Get ready!
Happy Administrative Assistant/ School Secretary Day to our amazing ladies. Ms. Lesly is our School Secretary and Ms. Christy is our Bookkeeper/Board Secretary. These two wear many hats during a day and they keep SKS running flawlessly. We would be lost without them! You are so appreciated!
School Bus Driver Appreciation Day
SKS truly does have the best drivers! Thank you for making sure our students are cared for and transported safely.
Encouragement from 4th grade to all SKS students taking the MAP this week!
During a career presentation, Matt Cupps taught the 7th grade about farming. They learned that there are many different responsibilities that go into farming, and your day can be different from one minute to the next. They also learned that many of the skills acquired in farming are sought after in other careers.
Congratulations to our 3rd-4th grade volleyball team on opening their season with winning their first game!
3rd grade recently enjoyed ice cream after winning a contest in our last assembly. Nurse Duke and Mr. Farr make great confectioners!
SKS would like to welcome our new School Board members; Leah Denton and Callie Kell. Bob Grassino was re-elected to another term.
We LOVE our students.
We are PROUD of our students.
We BELIEVE in our students.
We wish our students all the BEST on the test.
