Garrett Barnes, owner of Elevated Productions, taught the 6th grade class about photography, videography, marketing, and entrepreneurship. He suggested taking classes in art, business/marketing, math, and finance. A few of the many great pieces of advice he gave to be successful in owning a business are to be quick to listen and slow to talk, live in a business mindset including representing yourself well at all times, and doing something is better than nothing.

Recently, Coach Land and Coach Hadlow attended a PE conference. Coach Land reported, "The PE Conference was good! We were able to get some new ideas for games, equipment to look into, and we had some good discussion as to some things we can adjust for our PE/Health classes. We were glad we got to go!" Exciting new ideas coming soon in PE and Health classes.

In science, our 7th graders dove into an incredible experiment exploring the behavior of hot and cold water particles! We learned about how heated particles rise due to being less dense, while cooler particles sink as they become more dense. Using vibrant food coloring, we watched in awe as the red hot water floated gracefully on top of the blue cold water! The students were thrilled to see our theories in action and had a blast discussing the results. A huge shoutout to our budding scientists for their enthusiasm and curiosity! We can't wait to explore more experiments together! 🌟🔍 #ScienceInAction #7thGradeScience #LearningIsFun
