Stellar STUDENT Spotlight-
While this post is usually for our stellar staff, we have some pretty stellar students at SKS too!
Zayla- she accidentally spilled her popcorn at the ballgame, right in the main path of traffic. She quickly went and found a broom and dust pan and took care of the cleanup herself!
Ian- he noticed during a basketball game that the bleacher area was very trashy. Soda cans, spilled popcorn, candy wrappers all thrown on the floor. He got a trashcan, broom and dust pan and cleaned the whole area!

Shell Knob School was awarded the Hope Grant for $15,000 from the Silver Dollar City Foundation for evening activities and other needed items for students. This grant is designed to provide funds to local communities to help students and their families.

Stellar Staff Spotlight- Nurse Duke! From Mr. Bonass Nurse Duke is always there to help a kiddo with their medical emergencies,(yes, even the ones that would "bleed out" if they didn't get a Band-Aid)! On top of that he does his job with a smile and is always willing to go the extra mile to help out. From Mrs. Wheeler- Nurse Duke effortlessly puts kids at ease all the while doing an assessment of their problem. He shows great compassion and has excellent knowledge of medical issues. Our students even look forward to Nurse Duke pulling their loose teeth! He is an expert in his field!
Today is School Custodian Appreciation Day! We want to say a HUGE thank you to our fantastic custodian crew! They keep SKS clean and in good order! It's a hard job cleaning up after so many people all day long! Thank you Lori, Josie, Mark, Sherry and Megan!

The elementary volleyball fun starts this week!
It takes commitment and hard work to host a basketball tournament. Thank you to all of the staff that worked each night. Three leaders from the student body made sure the concession stand ran as smooth as possible! Thank you Ryder, Ryan and Khale!
