Career presentation- Sergeant Givens from the Missouri State Highway Patrol presented to 7th grade about a career in law enforcement. He explained his most important tool is his ears, because listening to people gives him a lot of answers and let's him respond appropriately. He also explained that a lot of his job is service and helping people in the community, which he really enjoys.

Before our break, 7th grade did a “fizzing Christmas tree” experiment with 3rd grade. The first week, they prepared the trees; mixed vinegar, water and baking soda. The next week, they fizzed the trees!

Sharpen the Saw, today the 3rd grade had free play in counseling which promotes and encourages critical thinking, problem solving and teamwork. Some of the boys made it across the floor by moving planks!

Come and see The Show

We are excited to welcome Dozer, the therapy dog, to the Shell Knob School Family! Dozer has his AKC Canine Good Citizen certification and his Therapy Dog certification through The Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Look for a letter being sent home with your students' grades to tell you about the benefits of having Dozer at the school and address any questions you may have!

Zoey says “we are reading. We are happy about the books we are reading!”

Our festive last 12 days before break!

6th grade earned a pizza party and free recess by pooling together their Charger money! These are just a couple examples of experiences that can be purchased by students with Charger money.

A fowl reminder for our middle school students! 😂

Thank you Access Family Care for the successful dental truck visit!

Thank you Cassville Rotary Club for the dictionaries presented to our 4th grade students!

Veterans Day Breakfast and Assembly, hosted by SKS

When you have a pipe leak right before the kids come in, it’s all hands on deck! We think Dr. Conyac just wanted to drive the floor machine!

Have fun and be safe.

3rd grade enjoying the nature trail!

Don’t miss our last basketball game, tonight at 5:00!

We are so excited to have our cheerleading squad at our games!

Missouri cookies:
"In 4th grade, we studied about the state of Missouri. Then, we colored and labeled a picture of Missouri. Then, we baked cookies and shaped them into the shape of Missouri. After they were done, we decorated them with icing and sprinkles to show the rivers, lakes, and cities. After we finished, we ate them!" -Emma M. and Kim

Be sure to get out tonight at 5:00 to cheer on our basketball teams and enjoy 8th Grade Night!
